At the opposite end, resort wear is having a saturation moment. Combine citrus with Mediterranean elements: tile backgrounds, Greek key borders, or Amalfi-style coastal imagery. Strong palettes include lemon yellow + Mediterranean blue + cream, or lime green + terracotta + white.

Strawberry patterns perform across every product category and all demographics. If you design only one fruit pattern this year, make it strawberries.

Shell motifs moved from basic coastal imagery into fashion-forward status through the "mermaidcore" aesthetic of the past two years. Scalloped edges, single shell silhouettes, scattered shell collections, and nautilus spirals all find strong markets.
