Refund Policy

This Refund Policy governs all paid subscriptions purchased through Pattern Weaver at patternweaver.ai. By subscribing to a paid plan, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below. This policy should be read together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1. Credit-Based Model

Pattern Weaver operates on a credit-based subscription model. Each paid plan provides a fixed number of Credits per billing cycle. Each generative action (pattern creation, tiling fix, enhancement) consumes one (1) Credit. Credits represent computational resources — each generation incurs real infrastructure costs.

  • Credits are allocated at the start of each billing cycle and expire at the end of that cycle;
  • Unused Credits do not roll over to subsequent billing cycles;
  • Browsing, exporting, organising, and downloading previously generated content does not consume Credits.

2. Refund Eligibility

Refund requests are assessed based on when the request is submitted and whether Credits have been consumed during the current billing period.

2.1 Full Refund

If no Credits have been used during the current billing period and the request is submitted within fourteen (14) calendar days of the charge date, a full refund of that cycle's payment will be issued.

2.2 No Refund

Refunds are not available in the following circumstances:

  • Any Credits have been consumed during the current billing period;
  • The request is submitted more than fourteen (14) calendar days after the charge date;
  • The Account was terminated due to a violation of our Terms of Service;
  • A chargeback or payment dispute has been filed with your financial institution before contacting us.

3. Failed Generations

Credits are only deducted upon the successful completion of a generative action. If a generation fails due to a system error, server timeout, or infrastructure issue on our end, no Credit is deducted.

If you believe a Credit was incorrectly deducted, contact support@patternweaver.ai with the approximate date and time, and a description of the error. We will investigate and restore any incorrectly consumed Credits within two (2) business days.

Dissatisfaction with the aesthetic quality of a successfully generated pattern does not constitute a failed generation. AI-generated results vary based on input parameters.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation:

  • Your current plan and remaining Credits remain active until the end of the current billing period;
  • No further charges will be applied;
  • At the end of the billing period, your Account reverts to the Free tier;
  • Previously generated content remains accessible in your library regardless of plan status.

Cancellation does not automatically entitle you to a refund. If you believe you are eligible under the criteria in Section 2, you must submit a separate refund request.

5. Plan Changes

Upgrades take effect immediately. You are charged a prorated amount for the price difference for the remainder of the current billing cycle, and your Credit allocation is adjusted accordingly. Upgrade charges are non-refundable once additional Credits have been used.

Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. You retain your current plan for the remainder of the current cycle. No refund is issued for the price difference.

6. Chargebacks and Disputes

Contact us at support@patternweaver.ai before initiating a dispute or chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may result in:

  • Immediate suspension of your Account pending resolution;
  • Forfeiture of refund eligibility under this policy;
  • Permanent Account termination if the chargeback is filed fraudulently or in bad faith.

We respond to all billing enquiries within two (2) business days.

7. Currency and Processing

All prices and refund amounts are denominated in United States Dollars (USD). Refunds are processed in USD. If your payment method is denominated in another currency, the refunded amount in your local currency may differ from the original charge due to exchange rate fluctuations. Any fees imposed by your bank or payment provider are your responsibility.

8. Requesting a Refund

Email support@patternweaver.ai with the subject line "Refund Request" and include: your account email, plan name, charge date, and reason for the request.

We will acknowledge your request within two (2) business days and notify you of our decision within five (5) business days. Approved refunds are processed within five to ten (5–10) business days and returned to the original payment method. Additional processing time may apply depending on your bank or payment provider.

9. Modifications

We reserve the right to update this Refund Policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated to registered users at least fourteen (14) days before they take effect. Changes apply only to charges made after the updated effective date.
